The GolfHammer

Kendal knew that people in general were good at using hammers, and if not very capable of learning how to use them without the need for instruction. He also appreciated that a hammers simple design did not evoke any confusion as to how they “worked”. Primarily we use them to drive home nails home by aligning force in a specific direction……and Kendal used this fact to help him design the GolfHammer

The GolfHammer simplifies and clarifies the task. It helps people see the game from a new and very familiar perspective, and when that happens golf swings change instantly and naturally in response to that.

Having created the GolfHammer Kendal realised the important role the nail played in how a hammer was delivered. With this in mind he designed the GolfNail. The GolfNail is a golf ball connected to a short alignment pole and it clearly indicates to the player the direction that the force needs to be applied in with the GolfHammer.

Thousands of years of evolution and the need to survive and feed ourselves meant that human beings became very good at hitting things, which makes it even more surprising that a game involving simply hitting a ball with a stick has proved such a challenge to master. Despite the amazing advances in technology and coaching knowledge golf remains the most over-analysed under-learnt sport in the world. Hopefully the GolfHammer and GolfNail can begin to change that.
